Sun Goddess is inspired by a NASA image of an actual solar flare. It looked like the legs of someone walking, and I began to play with "What if? What if someone WERE actually walking on the sun? What would she look like?" Sun Goddess is part of my ongoing Galaxy Art series, inspired by my love of astronomy, science fiction and the wonders of our universe, both real and imagined.
